I looked into that whole 'birds aren't real' thing as a joke and now I'm not so sure
I mean, I watched a few of their videos and read their 'evidence' about drones replacing birds in the 70s. The weird part is, I tried to find a simple, clear government document disproving it and came up totally empty. Has anyone else tried to fact-check a silly conspiracy and found it harder than they thought?

Honestly, the fact that there's no official paper on it is the most normal thing. The government doesn't make statements on every joke theory online. Like, you won't find a USDA report titled "Debunking Avian Drone Replacement." They're busy. The "evidence" is just people pointing at normal bird behavior and calling it weird. A pigeon acting odd is just a pigeon, not proof of a 50 year cover-up.

Oh man, this reminds me of my friend Jake. He got super into flat earth stuff as a goof, started watching all their videos. He said the same thing, that he couldn't find a single NASA page that just said "here's why the earth is round" in plain English. It really messed with him for a week. He was looking at boat hulls disappearing bottom-first over the horizon and everything. He finally snapped out of it when he tried to explain it to his grandma and she just patted his hand and said "honey, you need more sleep.
