I spent a month digging into the flat earth theory versus the moon landing hoax theory

I mean, I looked at both for about 30 hours total, reading old forums and watching videos. The flat earth stuff falls apart fast when you look at simple things like flight paths from Sydney to Santiago. But the moon landing hoax arguments, like the flag waving or the lighting, have way more specific technical details to pick at. It's not that I believe it, but the debate itself is just on another level of detail. Has anyone else found one conspiracy theory holds up to basic logic better than another?

You said the moon landing debate has more technical details, but like, who has the time to fact check all that? I just see people arguing over shadows in photos for hours and it feels like a waste of a weekend lol. Flat earth is obviously silly, but getting super deep into flag waving physics seems just as pointless.

Right? Who even has the energy for that? I got sucked into a thread about lunar dust once and lost a whole afternoon. It's just people picking tiny things apart forever.
