My neighbor's garage door opener glitch made me question the whole grid

Was helping him in Akron last Tuesday when his new opener failed at 3:17 PM sharp. Same time his wifi cut out. Checked the local outage map, nothing reported. He said it happens every other week like clockwork. I started logging the dates. Found a pattern matching local utility 'load testing' schedules they never announce. Makes you wonder what else is scheduled to fail. Anyone else track weird timing on household stuff?

Ever notice how your smart TV suddenly needs a reboot right when you're getting to the good part of a show? My coffee maker's clock resets at the same time every month, like it's getting a secret signal. Maybe the garage doors are just the first to know the plan.

That's probably just a weird coincidence with old batteries or something. Most of that stuff fails randomly anyway.
