PSA: I argued with strangers online for 3 months about chemtrails before I checked the actual weather data
I finally pulled up the NOAA site last Tuesday and looked at the flight paths over my own town in Ohio and realized I had been repeating a claim from a YouTube video that never matched what the sky actually showed, so has anyone else traced a conspiracy belief back to its original source and found the trail just goes cold?
Funny how nobody ever traces their own side back to the source though. Did you go check the actual data behind the stuff you believed before the chemtrails thing? Because most people who "debunk" something just swap one YouTube video for another one that tells them what they already wanted to hear. The NOAA site shows flight paths, sure, but it doesn't explain why the sky looks different than it did 30 years ago or why the govt spent decades doing cloud seeding experiments and never really stopped talking about weather modification. "The trail goes cold" just means you stopped pulling the thread once it got uncomfortable, not that there's nothing there.
