Question about that whole "secret space program" whistleblower circuit
Honestly, I've been following this stuff since the 90s when it was just guys on AM radio, and now every month some new whistleblower pops up with a story that's slightly scarier than the last one. Last week I sat through a three hour video with a guy claiming he worked on a lunar base, and what got me wasn't the story, it was the fact that he sold a $40 ebook right after. Tbh, back then the wild ones at least had a genuine fear to them, now it feels like a content mill. Has anyone else noticed the shift from true believers to straight up grifters in this space, or am I just getting old and cynical?

Did you ever catch that one guy back in like 2005 who claimed he got abducted by accident because he was just driving home from a night shift? That dude was on every show for years, sold tapes of his "hypnosis sessions" and everything. Anyway, the way I see it, the grifters are just smoother now. They figured out people will pay for a story that sounds kinda true but also kinda scary, so they packaged it like a Netflix series instead of a paranoid rant. The real believers are still there, but they're drowning in the noise of dudes who watched too many YouTube docs and realized they can charge for merch.

That 2005 guy had the same 900 number setup as every psychic hotline, just with more crop circles.
