Ran into an old coworker at a gas station who changed my view on chemtrails

I was filling up at the Shell on Highway 41 last Tuesday when a guy I used to frame houses with back in 2008 walked up. He pointed at the sky and said "you notice those lines never show up over rural farmland?" and then just walked off. I never really thought about chemtrails much before that, but it got me wondering if there's a pattern nobody talks about. Has anyone else had a random encounter like that that made you second guess everything?

I still can't figure out if chemtrails are real or my eyes just got that bad since turning 40.

Question whether it's really that serious. I mean, look up at the sky on any given afternoon and half the time you'll see some streaky clouds that look weird just because of the sunlight hitting them at the right angle. People have been seeing normal sky trails since the 1940s, way before anyone dreamed up the word "chemtrails." If the government was really dumping something on us, they'd have to be doing it billions of dollars worth, every single day, and someone would have blown the whistle by now. Probably just your eyes getting a little fuzzy like mine, but honestly it's not worth losing sleep over either way.

benclark said "since the 1940s" but jet contrails really took off in the 1950s with commercial flights.
