The CIA's own declassified docs admit they ran mind control experiments on US citizens

Ran across a 1977 Senate report on MKUltra last night while digging into something else, and it straight up says they dosed people with LSD without consent in at least 80 different universities and hospitals. Has anyone else looked at the actual numbers on how many people they admitted to experimenting on?

Holy shit, 80 different places? That's way bigger than I thought.

Yeah I'm not gonna lie, I used to think it was just a few sketchy facilities that got caught. This whole thing is way bigger than I ever realized. Seeing 80 different places listed out like that really makes you stop and think. I guess I just never wanted to believe it could be that widespread. Definitely changed my mind on how deep this stuff goes.

Read some estimates saying they messed with like 7,000 people including prisoners and mental patients.
