Man, one phone call beating a 4 hour pour is the whole ballgame right there. Once that truck shows up you are on the clock whether you like it or not, and a load that sits too long is money in the trash. That call probably cost you five minutes and saved you a whole crew standing around with their thumbs in their pockets.

Oh man, preach. Had a pour get delayed once because nobody called ahead about the pump truck, and we just stood there watching the clock while that load sat. That five minute call is the cheapest insurance you'll ever buy.
