Saturday shift almost turned into a rescue mission at the concrete pump

Last month we had a pour at a site off I-70 and the pump operator flagged us because his hose was kinked before the boom even extended, costing us 40 minutes of crew time. Has anyone else dealt with operators who don't do a full pre-pour line check?

Ran into the same thing once, the guy swore the hose was fine but we found a split right where it bends. Spent the whole pour babysitting the line instead of the concrete.
