Site in Nashville ran out of rebar ties on a pour day and I made the call to keep going
Two Fridays back we were pouring a 4,800 sq ft deck in Nashville and the tie wire ran dry around 10am with maybe half the grid tied. The super wanted to send a guy 40 minutes across town for more wire, which would've blown our pump window and cost us a $2,300 standby fee. I told them to keep setting bar and we'd come back behind the pour with wire and cranks once the truck left, and it worked but it was tense for two hours. Anyone else ever gamble on sequencing like that, or do you always stop the whole job for one missing consumable?
