A client told me my blowouts were making her hair feel like straw
She came in for a color touch-up about a month ago and said, 'Cameron, my ends feel fried since my last style.' I was using my usual high heat and a round brush on everyone. I switched to a medium heat setting and a boar bristle brush for her texture, and the difference was huge. Her hair was smooth but way less brittle. Anyone else had to adjust their heat tools for different hair types?

Yeah, that "smooth but way less brittle" result is exactly what my stylist friend says she aims for. She told me she basically never uses high heat on fine hair anymore.
