Heard a stylist at the Columbus trade show say she never upsells, and it got in my head
She was at the Wella booth talking about retention. Claimed she stopped pushing add-on treatments 2 years ago and her rebooking rate went up to 78%. Her point was that if the cut itself is solid, people come back on their own, and clients can smell a pitch from the chair. I get the logic but it goes against everything I learned starting out. Do you still offer add-ons or let the service speak for itself?
