Just found out my blow dryer nozzle was clogged for like a year
I kept wondering why my roots were taking forever to dry and my clients were sitting under the dryer longer than usual. Last week I finally took apart my Babyliss和专业 nozzle and there was this thick layer of lint and hairspray gunk built up inside. I cleaned it out with a pin and some rubbing alcohol and now it's like I got a brand new dryer. The air flow is way stronger and my drying time dropped by almost 10 minutes per client. Has anyone else ever checked their nozzle and found it nasty like that? I feel kinda dumb it took me this long to notice.

The "lint and hairspray gunk" detail is key because that stuff is flammable, especially with high heat from a dryer running for minutes at a time. You basically found a fire hazard hiding in plain sight, not just a performance problem. Bet a lot of stylists never think to crack that nozzle open until something smells weird or stops working.

Ask how often are they actually cleaning those things? In a busy salon, is it a weekly thing or more like "when it starts smelling like burning plastic"? Cause that's the real danger right there. Nobody thinks about heat buildup until something catches. Wondering if there's a standard rule or if most stylists are just playing with fire every day.
