My clippers died mid fade on Saturday and I finished the cut with scissors
Had a walk-in on Saturday afternoon, young guy wanting a skin fade, and about halfway up the side my clippers just quit on me. No warning, no slowing down, just dead. I stood there for a second looking at the mess and grabbed my shears and did the rest by hand, which took me back to beauty school in 2009 when we had to learn scissor over comb before we ever touched a machine. Took me 40 minutes instead of 15 but the fade actually came out clean. Any of you keep a backup pair charged up at your station, or do you just roll the dice like I did?
