Took me 3 hours to figure out why my color bowl kept tipping, and it was the dumbest fix
Last week I was doing a balayage on a client at the shop and my color bowl kept sliding off the edge of the trolley every time I set my brush down. I tried wiping the trolley, stacking towels under it, even holding the bowl with my pinky while mixing. After about 3 hours of fighting it across two clients I finally realized the little rubber ring on the bottom of the bowl had come off and was stuck inside another bowl in my drawer. Popped it back on and the thing hasn't moved since. I felt so silly because I was blaming my trolley and my technique when it was just a missing 50 cent part. Has anyone else lost one of those rubber rings and spent way too long figuring it out?
