I pushed everyone to 4 weeks for 3 years because that's what my first salon in Dallas drilled into me, but when I moved to a chair on my own in March I tested 8 weeks on 5 regulars and their root smudges actually blend better. Anyone else ditched the 4 week rule or am I about to get roasted by the old guard?
