My sister grabbed me this $45 color changing lamp from some boutique in Portland last Christmas, and I was sure it would be the thing that made my late night Stardew sessions feel all calm and cozy. Turns out the dumb $12 plug-in nightlight from the grocery store does way more for me, mostly because it just stays one warm color instead of cycling through 16 shades every few seconds. The fancy one actually made me antsy, like I was waiting for it to turn green and ruin the mood. Anyone else find that the cheap boring option beats the pricey one for winding down?
