My crops kept dying in Stardew till a guy at a laundromat in Akron pointed out my watering can timing
So I've been playing Stardew Valley for like 8 months now and I kept losing crops and I couldn't figure out why. I thought I was just bad at the game. Last week I'm sitting at the laundromat on Market Street waiting on my spin cycle and this older guy next to me sees the farm on my phone and asks how much I'm watering. I said every morning, all of them. He laughed and said that's the problem, watering takes energy and I was burning it all before 9am and passing out in the fields. He showed me his save and he only waters what he can reach on his way to the mine, then does the rest at night. I tried it for 6 in-game days and lost zero crops, which for me is a record. Turns out the game isn't hard, I was just doing the same dumb loop over and over. How do you all split up your farm chores so you don't run out of energy by noon?
