My nephew called Stardew Valley boring, then sat and watched 45 minutes of it
I was at my sister's place in Boise over the weekend and my 13 year old nephew kept poking fun at me for playing Stardew Valley on my Switch. He called it a farm game for old people, then about ten minutes later he was leaning over my shoulder asking why I was saving my money instead of buying the duck. He ended up watching me fish for almost an hour and never said a word about it being boring again. It got me thinking about how people write off slow games before they actually give them a chance. Has anyone here gotten a younger kid into a cozy game, and did they stick with it or drop it fast?
