Can we talk about leveling outriggers on uneven ground?
I spent my first 6 months on the job just eyeballing outrigger pads on sloped sites near Atlanta. Last Tuesday an old hand pointed out my rear outrigger was 2 inches off the bubble and said 'you're gonna tip a load one day.' Grabbed my digital level and now I check every pad before lifting. Anyone else skip this step when you started?

Whoa wait you were running without checking the bubble at all for SIX MONTHS? That's wild to me lol. I've only been on a crane for about two years now and I still catch myself double checking my level a couple times before any pick. My trainer would've lost his mind if he saw me skip that step even once, let alone for half a year. I've seen a pad sink into soft ground mid lift and that was enough to make me paranoid forever. props to that old hand for catching you before something bad happened.
