I finally switched from a 2-part to a 3-part tagline system for my 80-tonner

The extra control point cut my swing time by almost 15% on a tight site in Cleveland. Anyone else made a change that seemed small but paid off huge?

Patricia has a point about site conditions. We had a similar setup last month where the wind was just right, made everything feel smoother. But even on a normal day, that third point lets you walk the load into place instead of fighting it. The real test is when the ground crew is new.

15% is a big claim for just a tagline change. Sounds like a lot of hype over a simple gear swap. Maybe the site was just easier that day.

You're right to be careful about big claims, but the tagline change is more than just a gear swap. It changes how the load swings, which really does save time on every single pick. That 15% came from tracking a whole month of lifts, not just one good day.
