Warning: My crane's load cell failed mid-lift last Thursday
I was picking a 4-ton HVAC unit at a job site in Phoenix when the load cell went blank. The digital display just flickered and died. I stopped the lift immediately and lowered the load manually. Ended up using the backup mechanical indicator for the rest of the day. Has anyone else had a load cell go out without warning like that?
