A guy at a bus stop in Cleveland told me his whole life story in three minutes.
He was waiting for the 55 bus, just like me. He said his name was Ray and he used to drive a forklift, but got laid off six months ago. He told me, 'You know, everyone's got a book inside them, but most folks are just too scared to open the cover.' I've been thinking about that line for a week now. What's the best random line a stranger ever gave you for a story idea?

He told me there's a whole chapter on that weird bait recipe his grandpa used, @the_mary. Like, pages on how to mix secret stuff with oatmeal. The rest is just him complaining about losing his favorite lures, lmao.
