Hot take: the prompts at my local library's Tuesday night writers group are better than anything I see online
I sat in on the group at the Cedar Park library two weeks ago and the whole hour ran on one prompt about a locked door, and every single person went somewhere totally different with it. Meanwhile half the prompts I see shared online are just 'write about a memory' with a pretty graphic behind it. What's the best prompt you've ever gotten from a real life group or class?
