Just hit my first 1000 words on a single story idea, which is huge for me.
I mean, I wasted like $60 last month on one of those 'premium prompt generator' apps. It was called StorySpark Pro and it just gave me the same vague 'a stranger arrives in town' stuff I could think up myself. Idk, maybe it's just me but I felt pretty silly. Has anyone found a good, free method for breaking past that initial idea stage?

Saw an article last week about a car company wanting a monthly fee just to use the heated seats you already bought. That feels like the peak of this trend.
