My writing group in Boise completely misunderstood my prompt about a sentient lawnmower
I spent a week trying to explain that the horror wasn't about it being evil, but about it just wanting to be a normal mower, and they kept writing slasher flicks. Has anyone else had a simple concept get totally derailed like that?

So what was your exact prompt to the group? I'm trying to picture how you set up the sentient mower idea without them jumping straight to murder bot.
