The plot hole that ruined my whole story outline in 20 minutes

I was at a coffee shop in Portland last Tuesday, mapping out a middle chapter for my fantasy novel. Everything fit until I noticed my magic system contradicted the big betrayal scene I had planned for chapter 12. I sat there for 20 minutes just staring at my laptop, feeling like the whole 40 page outline was garbage. So I deleted the outline file, grabbed a napkin, and wrote every key event on separate sticky notes instead. Then I shuffled them around on the table until the logic actually worked. It took another hour but I found a fix that made the betrayal hit harder, but now I'm second guessing if my new ending feels too rushed. Has anyone else had to completely rebuild their outline from scratch after one dumb detail broke everything?
