The writer's workshop that cost me $300 and taught me nothing
I paid 300 bucks for a weekend workshop in Austin that turned out to be 8 hours of the instructor reading his own novel aloud, and when I asked about developing characters he said just feel it, so has anyone else walked out of a writing event that promised way more than it gave?
