Warning: that writing prompt about the perfect murder almost got me in real trouble
I was at a bar in Birmingham last Friday, talking to a buddy about a prompt where someone plans a robbery, and I got carried away describing the details. A guy two stools down overheard me and called the cops thinking I was serious. How do you keep your story ideas from sounding too real in public?
