The four yeses on the same day thing is wild. That backlog build up is real though. I pitched a bunch of stuff in one week last fall and then heard nothing for like six weeks. Then boom, three emails in one afternoon. What worked for me was sending a short follow up at the two week mark, just a bump, nothing pushy. People forget, that's all. So half the yeses came from that second nudge, not the first pitch.
