Had a 30 minute talk with a kid at Subway who totally shifted my video editing style
I was grabbing a footlong around noon last Tuesday, and this high school kid behind the counter asked what I do. I told him I run a small gaming channel, and he just casually said 'bro your cuts are too fast, let the jokes breathe for a second.' I went home and rewatched my last three videos, and he was totally right lol. Has anyone else gotten random feedback from a stranger that actually made you rethink your whole approach?

Bro I got roasted by a 10 year old on my own stream once, told me my transitions were giving him motion sickness. Had to sit there and take it while he proceeded to list three better ways to do it lmao. Kid was dead right though, went back and cut half my wipes and zooms out after that stream. Sometimes the harshest critics are the ones not trying to be nice about it.

Take it with a grain of salt, @reese124, but half the time those harsh comments are more about the viewer's own pet peeves than your actual stream quality. Still, maybe it's worth a second look if the kid's feedback stuck with you that much.
