Hit 5,000 subs on my woodworking channel last Tuesday and now I'm second guessing everything
Two years ago I started filming my shop projects just for my dad to watch, and last Tuesday the counter rolled past 5,000 subs. On one hand it feels great, brands are finally emailing me about sponsorships and my comments are full of people asking for plans. On the other hand I keep wondering if I should chase that growth with clickbait thumbnails and weekly uploads, or keep doing one messy build a month the way I actually like working. I made $43 from the creator fund last month, which barely covers glue and sandpaper, so the money side is tempting me. But the moment I start filming for the algorithm instead of the project, my whole reason for picking up a chisel goes out the window. For those of you who have crossed a milestone like this, did you change your format or hold the line? I'm honestly stuck and would love to hear what worked for you.
