My entire website went down for 6 hours last Tuesday because I ignored a plugin update warning for 4 months

I kept clicking remind me later on that WordPress security patch until the plugin finally broke something critical and now I actually read update notes before installing them, has anyone else learned this lesson the hard way with a specific plugin?

Oh man, I used to be the same way. I was all "it'll be fine, I'll update it next week" for months. Then a WooCommerce security patch sat ignored on my site and boom, the whole thing crashed during a sale weekend. Lost like 2 grand in orders before I even realized what happened. That one hurt enough to make me actually check the update notes before clicking now, lol.
