One random comment from a viewer at a live show stayed with me for 2 years

I do small creator meetups and Q&A panels, usually 20 to 30 people in a room. Back in March 2023 at a pop-up event in Portland, a guy came up after my talk and just said, "You explain your process better than your videos do." That hit me weird because I spend 10 hours editing each clip. He wasn't rude, just honest. I asked what he meant and he pointed out I rush through the setup part on camera. Since then I've tried slowing down my intros and showing more raw mistakes. Anyone else get feedback that made you change how you present your work, even if it stung a little?

A single comment from one person doesnt mean you should change your whole style, especially when your videos have built an audience that likes them as they are. That guy might just have been in a rush or wanted something you already do, just in a different way. Editing those 10 hours likely does more for your channel than slowing down ever will, so trust your own method over one passing strangers take.
