Question about using the same hashtags for every post
I was posting daily for 6 months and my growth was flat, so I asked a friend in Austin to look at my account. He pointed out I was using the same 15 hashtags on every single video, which the algorithm apparently sees as spam. I switched to using fresh, specific tags for each post and saw a 30% jump in reach in two weeks. How do you guys find new, relevant hashtags without it taking forever?

Honestly, I was stuck doing the same thing. What I do now is keep a note on my phone with a big list of tags sorted by topic. Before I post, I just pick like five that actually match the video. Like for a clip of my dog at the park, I'd grab a couple general pet tags, then specific ones for his breed and for park fun. It takes two minutes and feels way less spammy.

Oh wow, that's actually a great point from @wendyk56. I always just tagged the stuff you could see, but adding vibe tags makes total sense.

That's a solid system. Do you ever add tags for the mood or vibe of the video, not just the things in it? Like for your dog at the park, you could also add tags like #happy or #funny if he's being silly. It helps people find stuff based on how it feels, not just what it shows. I started doing that and noticed a different crowd finding my videos.
