Shoutout to cutting my video schedule and seeing my channel improve

I mean, I tried putting out a new video every day for half a year because everyone says that's how you grow. But I got so worn out and my watch time actually went down. Once I started only sharing two videos a week, my subscriber count jumped and I had more fun making stuff. Maybe it's just me, but pushing out content non-stop might not be the best move for everyone.

Totally, this happens everywhere with the whole "hustle harder" idea. You see it with people burning out at work just to check more boxes, not doing better work. Turns out, better stuff less often beats a tired pile of more stuff.

Tell me about it lol. I've been there and it just makes everything worse.

Was I the only one who used to buy into the whole "just put in more hours" thing? I mean, I'd skip breaks and work late thinking it proved something. But then I saw my own work get sloppy, like sending emails full of typos just to hit "inbox zero" or rushing a task so fast I had to redo it tomorrow. Now I get that taking a real lunch break and doing one thing well beats eight rushed, half done things.
