Shoutout to the creator space in Austin that had zero power strips available

I went to that big shared studio space off Congress Avenue last Thursday to record a podcast and every single outlet was taken by people on laptops. I ended up sitting on the floor near a vending machine just to charge my mic. Has anyone else run into this issue at co-working spots or is it just me?

Oh man that is such a pain, did you end up getting enough battery to finish recording? I swear every time I go to a shared workspace it's like people bring their whole desktop setup just to hog outlets. I've straight up had to ask someone to unplug their phone charger so I could use the strip for 10 minutes. It's wild that these places don't put in more power strips or at least label certain tables for charging.

What table would you even label as charging friendly without people camping out all day? Seems like they'd need a whole new system for that to work.
