That creator hub Facebook group I joined last month was a total scam

I joined this big Creator Hub Facebook group 5 weeks ago thinking I'd get real tips for growing my channel. Turned out the admin was just pushing his $200 course on everyone and banning anyone who asked real questions. Has anyone else run into these fake communities pretending to support creators?

That line about "pushing his $200 course" hit close to home. My buddy got sucked into a similar group and the admin kept promising he would personally review your content if you bought his program, but he never did. We finally found out the guy was just copy-pasting generic advice from YouTube videos everyone had already seen.

Oh man, that's rough. I hate when they promise personal attention and then just ghost you like that. It's such a common scam too, they know people are desperate for that one-on-one feedback so they dangle it as bait. Your buddy probably felt so hopeful at first, thinking this was the real deal. And finding out it was just recycled YouTube stuff? That's brutal, I'd be so mad about the wasted time and money. Did he ever try to get his money back or confront the guy about it?
