That influencer course I laughed at actually made sense after month 3
Saw a creator pushing a $200 course on content repurposing. Thought it was a total scam. Kept seeing the same advice pop up from different people. Tried their exact method of turning one long video into 12 pieces of content. Traffic jumped 40% in one month. Anybody else cave on a course they swore they'd never buy?

Actually that's not quite right about the 12 pieces of content number. People keep throwing that around like it's a magic formula, but it really depends on your video length and the platforms you're posting to. If you have a 10 minute video, you might get 12 pieces. But most people are working with shorter stuff, like 3 to 5 minute videos. I bought a similar course last year and the instructor was clear that it's more like 6 to 8 solid pieces if you're being honest about quality. Stretching it to 12 usually means you're just changing the caption and calling it a day, which doesn't really help your growth. The 40% traffic jump is real though, I saw similar results when I stopped trying to be creative with every post and just focused on recycling my best content.

Hang on to that last point you made about recycling good content instead of trying to be creative every time. Thats the real secret nobody talks about. I've got a channel with videos around that 5 minute mark and I cut them down to 7 or 8 clips max. If I try to squeeze out 12 the last few are always trash that nobody watches anyway. Better to have 6 strong pieces that get shared than 12 half baked ones that make you look lazy. Plus you can always go back and mine those leftover clips later for a different angle or audience.
