The fellow blogger who corrected my photo captions in public

Last year at a small creator meetup in Austin, I was talking about how I write captions for my travel posts. A woman I'd never met walked up and said, "You keep saying 'this is me at the falls' but the picture is clearly a lake, not a waterfall." She wasn't mean about it, just blunt. I checked my last three posts and she was right, I had mislabeled all of them. That one comment made me rework how I double check every location and landmark before I publish. Now I keep a simple notes file with the exact place names and spellings for each trip. Has anyone else had a random stranger point out a mistake that actually improved their whole process?
