TIL my old video editing workflow was adding 3 hours to every project

Switched from rendering in Premiere to DaVinci Resolve after a buddy showed me his before and after timeline last month, and I cut my export time by half, anyone else made the jump and noticed a difference?

Did you have to learn a whole new interface or did it click pretty fast? I tried switching but the color grading stuff in Resolve felt overwhelming at first.

My friend tried Resolve and said the color wheels made her want to cry for a week.

...like man I feel that. My buddy tried to show me some basic color correction in Resolve and I swear I was just staring at the screen like a confused dog. Ended up just messing with the contrast slider for 20 minutes and said it looked good enough haha. He was not impressed.
