Took advice from a 19-year-old commenter and lost 2 days of work

Some kid on a Discord server for creators said I should batch all my thumbnails in one sitting. Said it would save time and keep the style consistent. I tried it this week, made 6 thumbnails in a row without checking the actual videos. Turned out two of them were for videos I scrapped, and the one for my main upload had the wrong text because I misread my own notes. Had to redo everything Tuesday night. Who actually plans out that far ahead? Anyone else make this mistake or am I the only one dumb enough to trust random advice from someone who posts 3 times a week?

Three out of five times I trusted a random tip from a forum, I ended up redoing the work myself. I once followed a guy's advice on meal prepping six days of food and forgot I had a family dinner Thursday, so I ate the same sad chicken bowl three days straight. At least you caught the mistake before posting, which puts you ahead of me.
