Was re-watching an old podcast clip from 2022 where a creator said 'stop trying to go viral, start building a system' and it finally clicked why my views flatlined for 6 months.

I realized I was chasing random trends every week instead of sticking to one content pillar, so now I'm trying a 3 post per week schedule on one specific topic for 60 days to see if the algorithm rewards consistency over chaos, has anyone else tried a strict niche focus and actually seen growth?

Wait, is it really 3 posts per week or are you doing a strict weekly cadence? I've seen @sanchez.pat mention similar stuff about how the algorithm seems to reward that kind of predictable consistency over random bursts.

That "stop trying to go viral" line hits different when you realize you've been jumping from trend to trend like a pinball. Same thing happens at shops near me where folks constantly switch up their whole business model every month instead of just getting really good at one thing.

Whoa wait "pinball" is actually the perfect word for it. I mean you see these shops start with one thing, then next month they're doing something completely different with new signs and everything. It's like they can't just let something grow slowly and naturally.
