Coffee shop wifi made me rethink my password habits
I was at a local cafe in Austin last Tuesday and overheard the barista tell someone their whole network got hit because a customer guessed the guest password in 3 tries. Has anyone else seriously changed their home router password after seeing how easy those public ones are to crack?

Start thinking of better passwords when the barista posts your browsing history on Reddit.

Man, that's brutal but honestly not that far from the truth these days. I heard about a coffee shop in Portland that actually had a wall of printed browser history from customers who forgot to close their tabs. People don't realize how much of their digital life is just sitting there for anyone to see. If you're using "password123" or your dog's name with a number at the end, you're basically begging for trouble. A barista with a phone camera and a bad day could wreck your entire online existence in about two minutes. Maybe it's time we all treated public wifi like the wild west it actually is.
