Hit 100 password resets for one user and had to step back

I manage accounts for a small office, about 40 people. One user kept calling me every few weeks to reset his password because he forgot it. After the 100th reset over 2 years, I finally asked him what system he used. He said he wrote passwords on sticky notes under his keyboard. I showed him a free password manager and he hasn't called once in 6 months. Has anyone else run into that kind of stubborn behavior with simple fixes?

Makes me wonder how many people are just stuck in their old ways like that...

Caught my dad doing the exact same thing last week. He's been using the same email password since 2005 and refuses to change it because "it works fine." I tried to show him how to use a password manager and he just waved me off saying he doesn't trust it. It's wild how some people would rather deal with getting hacked than learn one new thing.
