I used to think password managers were a waste of money

Changed my mind after getting hit with a phishing email that looked exactly like my bank's login page. Almost typed in my password but remembered my manager auto-fills legitimate sites. Spent $35 on a family plan for Bitwarden after that scare. Has anyone else nearly fallen for a phish that looked way too real?

Oh boy, you and me both. I nearly handed over my login info to a fake Netflix email that looked so spot-on I had to double-check the URL three times.

Gave me chills reading that. I had one from "Amazon" about a suspicious order and I nearly clicked the link before I saw the email address was something like support.amazon-security-verify.net or whatever. It's wild how good these scammers are getting with the logos and formatting, like they actually pay designers to make them look real. Makes you wonder how many people just type in their password without thinking.

That "Amazon" one got me too (the fake security alert angle is so manipulative because it preys on your fear of losing your account). What gets me is how they're actually betting on us being too busy or distracted to check the little details.
