My smart doorbell got hijacked last Tuesday and I watched it happen
Last Tuesday around 11pm my phone blew up with motion alerts from my Ring. Turns out someone on my own wifi was logged into the app and watching my front porch. My router password was still the default admin/admin from 2 years ago, which is how they got in. Changed it that night plus turned on 2FA and kicked every device off. Anyone else had a camera get walked into like that?

Default admin/admin is wild, that's like leaving your front door wide open. Takes two minutes to change it and it saves you a whole lot of stress. Glad you caught it before they did more than just watch.
