Talked to an IT guy about password managers and felt dumb

Was at a BBQ last Saturday and this dude who works in network security said he has a 30 character password for his email. I laughed it off at first. Then he showed me his manager generates 24 random characters per site auto-filled. Made me realize my "secure" passwords are basically junk. Anyone else still using variations of the same 10 character password?

Typed out a 25-character one for my work email once and that was bad enough. Somehow I lost it two days later and had to reset everything from my desk. Phone autofill is the real hero in those situations.
