The password manager that locked me out of 40 accounts
Last Thursday I got a new phone and tried to move my vault over from that popular password manager, and the master password I've used for 3 years suddenly wouldn't match. Support confirmed there's no backdoor, no recovery key option, just a reset that nukes everything stored inside, so all 40 logins are gone unless I visit each site manually. Has anyone else been burned this way and switched to a self-hosted setup like KeePass instead?
