TIL checking URLs saved my login info from a scam
I make it a habit to look at website addresses before typing anything. A few days ago, I noticed a slight misspelling and avoided a fake login page. It was a small thing that really helped!

Man, I used to just click links without looking. Seeing that post about the misspelling made me actually start checking the addresses now.

Remember that fake site with the one letter off? I totally clicked it before my brain caught up. My excuse was the logo looked close enough from my tiny phone screen. You ever have that moment where you realize you just trusted a sketchy link?
